R.A.D. Basic Physical Defense Training
GWPD provides an opportunity to develop and enhance self-defense options using the Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) training model for women.
Event Security
The GW Police Department offers security services for events held on university property. The department reserves the right to refuse services based on need and circumstances.
Physical Security Survey
GWPD offers site surveys to offices and buildings around campus intended to assess current safety and security capabilities and recommend items for enhancement.
Threat Assessment
The Threat Assessment Team evaluates behavior that individuals perceive as warning signs for future violent or self-destructive actions.
Tips Line
GW's Crime Tips Hotline (202-994-TIPS) allows people who have information a way to report incidents with the promise of strict confidentiality.
