Campus Security Authority Incident Reporting
The George Washington University has identified staff and faculty members who are Campus Security Authorities (CSA's). Campus Security Authorities are individuals who are involved in security or who have a significant responsibility for student and campus activities.
Campus Security Authorities are required to file a report any time a reportable incident is reported to you.
- If the incident has the potential to be an imminent or ongoing threat to the University, the CSA is required to notify GWPD at (202) 994-6111.
- If the incident is not imminent or ongoing, the CSA is required to fill out an Clery Incident Webform.
- Submission of a webform is for statistical tracking purposes only. GW offers many resources available to victims/witnesses of crime at no cost. For more information on the resources available, please contact the GWPD Office of Victim Services at (202) 994-0443.
